The CERNET Annual Conference and Member Meetings have occurred since the early stage of CERNET construction in 1994. The events are organized by CERNET Management Committee, co-organized by CERNET Network Center and CERNET Expert Committee, and hosted by CERNET node universities in turn.
The participants are mainly CERNET technical experts, operators and member representatives. In recent years, the number of participants has exceeded 1000. The conference is generally focused on the following contents: interpretation of national policies, introduction of cutting-edge technology, exchange of network management, and discussion of campus applications. At the same time, parallel forums are also organized, including such topics as CIO forum, Network Security Forum, Network Operation Management Forum, IPv6 Technology and Application Forum, Eduroam and CARSI forum.
