Based on the 30,000 km trunk optical fiber owned by CERNET, a high-speed CERNET DWDM system was built to provide transportation network for CERNET / CERNET2 / FITI backbone network, and realize high-speed interconnection with domestic and international Internet through the interconnection center.

CERNET Network Center is an Internet unit authorized by the State Council to enjoy international export rights. CERNET connects CSTNET, China Telecom, China Unicom, China Mobile and other domestic Internet and next-generation Internet test networks with high speed, and realizes interconnection with international next-generation Internet education and research networks, including Internet2, GEANT and APAN.
