FITI BACKBONE NETWORK

FITI (Future Internet Technology Infrastructure) is a major Chinese science and technology infrastructure investment, which is now under construction and operation by 40 universities, including the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Education and Tsinghua University.

The project aims to break build the material and technological basis of major scientific and technological issues of economic and social development and national security, and provide an open experimental environment for the research and design of various innovative future network architectures. It is of great significance to enhance the original innovation ability of information technology and will play an important part in China’s future development.
